What RunnersKit is

RunnersKit is a weather-based clothing recommendation tool for runners. It fetches current conditions for the location you provide and suggests an outfit based on feels-like temperature, wind, and precipitation. It is a convenience tool, not a substitute for your own judgment about safety and conditions.

Using the service

You may use RunnersKit for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-query the service in ways that strain our infrastructure
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disable, or circumvent any part of the service
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

No account is required to use basic features. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

Weather accuracy

Weather data is provided by OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo. Conditions can change rapidly. RunnersKit makes no guarantee that recommendations will be accurate for your specific location or moment in time. Always check conditions before heading out, especially in severe weather.

Affiliate links

Some gear recommendations include affiliate links. If you purchase through one of these links, RunnersKit may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which gear is recommended. Selections are driven entirely by the temperature and condition data.

Accounts and saved data

If you create an account, you can save outfits and preferences. You own your data. You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your saved outfits and preferences from our systems. We do not sell account data.

Limitation of liability

RunnersKit is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on outfit recommendations, weather data inaccuracies, or service downtime.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
